Empowerment

Anxiety is a natural human response, but coaching is necessary when you start to feel powerless or lose yourself. Empowerment allows the client to embrace the anxiety. This coaching practice helps the client recognize anxiety without judgment or resistance.

Acceptance

Acceptance is the opposite of resistance. This part of the method aids clients in taking anxiety head-on. Through mindfulness techniques, clients will learn to allow the anxiety, not fight it, thereby decreasing its debilitating effects on them.

Shifting

This is all about creating strategies to shift the focus. Anxiety has been the main focal point for the client. Still, the coach will assist in helping recognize other senses, desensitizing the powerlessness of the anxiety, and giving the client attention and energy to different places.

E

Engagement

This final step is about empathetically expanding the client's horizons, incorporating challenging unhelpful beliefs, and broadening the client's focus on other aspects of life to attain the set, achievable goals for improved mental well-being. Engaging in solution-based techniques that bring joy and fulfillment increases confidence in the client, allowing them to reengage with life healthily.
